This notice covers the website rocksoftware.fi. The site is built to collect as little as possible: there is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no forms.

What this site collects
One strictly necessary cookie
The site sets one cookie, csrfToken. It is a random string the framework
uses to stop form abuse (CSRF protection). It is HttpOnly, it holds
nothing about you, and it is not used to identify or track you. It is deleted when you
close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, no consent is required for it —
which is why this site has no cookie banner.
No analytics, no third parties
The site uses no Google Analytics or other analytics, no ad networks, no social media embeds and no third-party font or script services. The webfont is served from our own server, so opening a page does not send your IP address to anyone else. The web server keeps no access log. If something goes wrong, the server's error log may record technical details such as an IP address; those logs are kept for at most 30 days and are used only to fix the fault.
If you contact us
If you send us email, your message and whatever it contains is stored in our mailbox. Our email is hosted on the servers of the Finnish provider Euronic (euronic.fi) in Finland, which processes it only on our behalf. We process it to answer you and handle your matter (legitimate interest and steps towards a contract). We keep customer correspondence for two years from the last message, and accounting records for the six years Finnish accounting law requires.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not profile you and we make no automated decisions about you. Browsing this website does not transfer your data outside the EU or the EEA, and neither does email you send us.
Our products are separate
This notice covers rocksoftware.fi only. Our products, such as widgetcalc.com, have their own privacy notice and their own terms, because they have user accounts and payments.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask us to erase it, to restrict or object to the processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Send requests to marko@rocksoftware.fi; we answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman, the supervisory authority for Finland.
Changes
If the site starts collecting anything else, we update this notice and its date at the same time as the change goes live.
